1. If we cannot talk about the storms within us, we can at least allow ourselves to feel them. Some storms become Art. Others transform us into Art.
2. The rawness of emotion is what you seek to grasp and stay with. Inspiration lies within the discomfort of accepting intensity and contradiction as a source of power.
3. Vulnerability is scary. Opening your world to another means giving them access to your essence, to what makes you 'you.' But it's also liberating. As humans, we're wired for connection and thrive on a sense of belonging and being understood.
4. Attention and understanding are the most basic form of love.
5. Your artistic evolution has reached a whole new level when your art:
Whether loved or hated, it simply cannot be ignored.
Fills an absence in the soul of the viewer that nothing else can.
Touches a heart so deeply that it becomes one with it.
6. If you are not there where you want to be yet, it means that you need to keep going. The path will unfold proportionately to your willingness and readiness to walk it. You don't need to know all of it, only your next step.
7. Always express your preference and be honest about what you feel. Rejection is a filter. Whoever doesn't resonate with you will disappear from your world. Whoever you don't resonate with will leave your path. Those who stay will be worth it.
8. Truly artistic minds are, by default, complex. Complexity is the gift of multi-layered perception, imagination, and presence. It can also be very controversial and difficult to navigate. Yet everything magical and precious cannot be unique without its quirks.
9. The cult of simplistic thinking often shields us from feeling and understanding the value of paradox.
10. The battles we fight and win in our minds will rarely have to be fought in reality.
11. Time is everything you've got. Do not spend it carelessly. Gift it solely to those who add a unique presence and magic to your world. They will give you either more time or a sense of timelessness.
As always, thank you for reading me!
