Mental Health Collective’s frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay or have an NFT to participate in MHC activities? Nope. We value mental health accessibility. All our services are on free platforms like Twitter and Discord and are open to All.

What is the MHC? MHC is a mental health non-profit organization for the Web3/NFT community. We provide mental health support and content on Twitter, Discord, and Medium. We are not an NFT project.

Who are the MHC’s founders? Vic Pinto (Non-Fungible Therapist) is a master’s level therapist focused on Web3 mental health. He finished grad school less than a year ago, so he isn’t licensed yet but is in the process.

Mentz/Lewis is a mental health advocate from his own experiences struggling with mental health and wants to increase support and accessibility for others who have struggled like himself.

Why doesn’t MHC have an NFT? We want to maximize mental health accessibility. Although we love NFTs, they are exclusive by design. You’re either a holder and a part of the club, or you're not. We want to avoid this and be inclusive to everyone.

What’s the MHC MadGradDad NFT on OpenSea? MadGradDad is a talented artist with bipolar disorder that created an NFT in April 2022. It was a small collection of 30 editions sold on our old OpenSea account. (in June 2022, due to unforeseen circumstances, we restarted our socials) The collection did not sell out.

We intended to highlight and support MadGradDad in his creative journey. We have the wallet addresses of those who supported him. We plan to include them in the MHC in the future.

Who does MHC partner with? MHC cares deeply about the mental health of the NFT community. We’re not a promotional or marketing tool and don’t partner with projects because they need it. We partner with projects that have already done and continue to do something for the mental health of their community.

How does the MHC make money? As of now, we’ve made zero money. We have, however, received donations in the form of NFTs from artists, MHC community members, and our NFT partnerships. As a 501(c)(3) by the IRS, we plan to apply for grants and develop a structured donation plan for the Web3/NFT community.

Can I set up a collaborative Twitter space with the MHC? Yes, please DM us on Twitter to set this up. Also, remember we also have a collaborative element. If your content is mental health/wellness related, you could tag us, and we'll share it.

How can I become more involved with the MHC? If you wish to join us and help others by giving your time or sharing your expertise, we encourage you to participate in our Discord or Twitter spaces.

Or tag us in your Mental Health content on Twitter. We'll share it!
