Rest

We cheer for hustle culture, but we rarely cheer for resting. Giving our minds and bodies the time to recover is key to peak performance.

For most of my life, I was always hustling, running the rat race. The reason was to climb the ladder and improve my position in life. In hindsight, the real reason was that I was running away from the feels deep inside.

Whenever I see someone in a go go go mode, I send over good vibes. They may be go-getters, but more likely, they are running from the deep needs that are fulfilled.

And I also don't run around trying to unplug everyone from the matrix. Not everyone is there yet, and that's okay. Still, give them love.

Resting usually happens when I'm burnt out. I saw this during the last bull run, people were running 24/7, and so many big names dropped out due to burnout. If you're at the point where you have to disconnect completely, then you've waited too long to rest.

There's always another level to climb. It's a never-ending game. Instead, think of rest as building up your power levels. Rest comes in the form of self-care, sleep, meditation, time with family, and eating well.

When you slow down enough, you'll start to feel uncomfortable feels. Sit in that space as long as you can. That's where your power resides. Behind those bad feelings are also all the great feelings. Rest, so you can find this space.

I'm going to spend some time with Ms. Chubbicorn now. Rest comes in the form of baking bread, cooking at home, and reading books next to each other. We're getting tired from the go go go projects, and it's time to slow down a bit.

I'm Chubbicorn80, and I want you to come along with me on this journey toward peak performance. I Love You, I'm here for you, and you are enough.
