Mental Health Things that Aren't Talked About Enough in the NFT Space

Writer: BertcchBertcch

A few tips I think can help your mental health.

Survivorship bias: most people only focus on the top few % of those who got crazy rich or got rich quick from NFTs.

Manage your risk and capital rationally. Yes, a lot of people got rich by going all-in on crypto/NFTs with all their savings or even with a loan, but even more of those ended up in serious debt or other sticky situations.

Self-worth: just because others made a shit ton from NFTs and you're not(or maybe in the reds) seeing the same results doesn't mean you're incompetent.

Focus on improving and training your judgment on projects based on the team/roadmap/community/market sentiment (or even price movements in regard to time & sales, and listings). Remind yourself to take stuff at your own pace, and aim to get sharper as you gain experience.

Happiness and stress: trading NFT is one heck of a job with very little to no rest. I got into NFTs in December and have not taken a single break for more than 24hrs since then.

It could get very mentally draining knowing that hours feel like weeks in Web3. There are too much info and stuff happening all the time, going offline for a few hours, and you come back to thousands of Discord/Twitter notifications.

I've been having trouble sleeping for a while now. To me, it's a sign that my body's trying to tell me to slow down and go outside, have a walk, and meet some friends.

NFT is a full-time job where you sacrifice A LOT of time and attention. Make sure not to let that completely consume you. You deserve to be happy, and you can be happy. Spend some of your profit and grab a nice meal!

I mean, you probably have spent way more on gas than on food anyway... So why not!?!?
