NFTs Help with Identity Crises?

Web3 community members face a lot of issues, but contrary to Web2 circles, identity crisis doesn’t seem to be one of them.

A couple of years ago, I remember thinking identity crisis was a problem too many were facing. Everyone seemed frozen in place, anxious about their place in the world.

Unfortunately, the identity crisis problem is still alive and well, yet now that I’ve dove head first into Web3, I see it much less. Something changed. I think it has something to do with NFTs.

NFTs have a fascinating way of rewiring the way we look at ourselves. Once you're an NFT community member, you become a creator, building on the blockchain.

You somehow immediately shed the pressure of figuring out who or what you are and are automatically assigned the creator role. You’re left with only figuring out what to create and which communities to support.

You become the brush, and the NFT community is your canvas. The label of Artist is unnecessary.

Find and jump into welcoming NFT communities where you're encouraged and empowered to express your art and unique personality. Coupled with the ability to monetize self-expression, the result is an explosion of creativity.

I’ve heard many say we’re in the midst of an artistic renaissance. I couldn’t agree more.

What are you creating?

-Special thanks to CK Lee, LMHP, for talking me through this topic and helping me figure out what I was trying to say.
