On October 3rd, the NFT project, Not Okay Bears, announced its holders had access to free 1-on-1 therapy for 16 weeks.
Maximum one hour per week for 16 weeks. 16 hours total.
This service would be provided through Mental Health tech giant: BetterHelp.
BetterHelp is an app that connects users with verified licensed therapists based on location for telehealth sessions.
I reached out to NOKB for follow-up questions but received no response.
Follow-up questions to consider:
-Will access to BetterHelp end in 16 weeks? Or can holders take advantage of this at their pace (as long as it’s a max one hour per week)?
-Can new holders take advantage of this, or is there a snapshot? If so, when is the deadline to claim?
-Can holders split their 16 hours with other people (like family or friends)? If so, what are the limitations?
-Is it limited to US-based NOKB holders only?
Cost
For US-based individuals, a BetterHelp subscription costs between $60 to $90 per week (billed every 4 weeks).
At the time of writing this, a floor Not Okay Bear NFT was currently selling for approximately $40.
