Quantity over Quality. The Value of Diversity

Quantity has more value than we think.

Social Life

In relationships, it’s foolish to depend too heavily on one person. The weight of responsibility is unfair. Besides someone carrying a handful of puppies, no one is perfect, and naturally, they’ll annoy, anger, or disappoint you at some point.

Healthy communication, boundaries, and self-awareness are ideal. But sometimes a major problem can be turned into a minor one simply by expanding our social network. The more relationships we have, the less dependent we become on each one.

This concept of diversifying doesn’t end in relationships.

NFTs

General financial wisdom recommends we always diversify our portfolios. It’s too risky to rely on only a small group of assets. So if you insist on investing in poop NFT derivatives, fine. But, diversify. Cover your ass! Don’t flush your money down the toilet.

Time & Attention

I love NFTs and not only because I want to be a gazillionaire. Good NFTs give us a sense of self-worth, passion, community, creativity, and much more. But unfortunately, besides $1 NYC pizza, nothing is perfect. Depending solely on NFTs to provide so much is dangerous.

The market and Ethereum are down, and NFTs aren’t delivering as much as they used to. It sucks.

Take this as a reminder that there are other things that you can turn to. What’ve you neglected the last couple of months? What were your passions before NFTs? Let’s expect less from NFTs and diversify. Remember the value of quantity.
