Here are a few different ways to help balance your life in Crypto/NFTs.

1. Hydration: While this is an annoying one that you’ll see in chats full of people trying to grind for WL, this is actually one of the most important. We are too stuck on the screens and tend to forget to drink enough water on a daily basis. Keep a bottle by your desk.
2. Walking: Taking walks on a daily basis and breathing fresh air is so rejuvenating and increases heart rate with exercise. It allows your mind to take some time to process all of the information that you have been absorbing when on discord, Twitter, etc.
3. Breaks: Just taking a 5-10 min break to stop staring at the screen will most definitely give rest to the eyes. There’s only so much they can handle.
Even standing up, stretching, cracking the bones. Your body will feel so much better, guaranteed.
4. Sleep: One of the most important points, as degens tend to pull late-nighters trying to find the next best money move. However, the opportunity cost of sacrificing your sleep is detrimental to the body. 6-8 hours of rest at night is necessary for longevity.
5. Music: The type of music one listens to during work can either bring about more stress or be more relaxing. It is recommended that classical, jazz, LoFi (my fave), and other categories are best used as background noise to especially focus on work.
6. Reading: Always an enjoyable time when reading a good book, and another way of helping improve the mind. However, there are a lot of people with ADHD in this space - and to those, I would recommend audiobooks. One chapter a day can have the slightest impact.
7. Time Management: A very difficult point, but important to mention nevertheless. Keeping a schedule of getting things done can significantly improve your productivity on a daily basis, as it keeps you on track with the tasks on hand that need to be completed.
That being said, setting alarms and using a calendar are just examples to assist with your time management. Set aside an hour or two to clean up all your discords (because I know damn well you hit the max amount), which will make your life much easier.
8. Friends: With the assumption that you have IRL frens, go spend some time with them (regardless of their view of Web3), grub out at a restaurant, go on a drive together, do fun activities like hitting the bowling alley, etc.
9. Meditation: Branching off points #2-3, meditating for even as little as 10 minutes is a great way to start the day and prepare yourself for all of the business that will happen throughout the day. Praying, stretching, breathing exercises, drinking herbal teas, etc.
Conclusion: Now, do I do all of these perfectly? Of course not. I’m only a human being. But these tips are just a couple of examples that have greatly helped me through the worst times of my life. And I hope they can help you. Gm!
