We are Small Drops in a HUGE Ocean of NFTs, Competing for All the Eyes & Ears in the World

We know how it feels too, but remember, being that ‘small’ drop can be seriously MIGHTY too. What it means to be petite yet powerful in Web3.

In a space as noisy as ours, it's easy to compare yourself to projects/artists who may seem like giants, to feel daunted by their scale, to feel pressure to reach their 'level' & be left feeling anxious & fearing failure with every Tweet, or with every piece you mint.

Of course, ‘larger’ & more established projects/artists can be huge sources of inspiration. Still, it’s a dangerous game to draw comparisons based solely on floor price, the number of likes, followers, retweets, or discord stats because being ‘small’ can be seriously powerful too. Being small makes you agile; able to pivot at a moment’s notice. Being small means the connections you forge with others can be that much stronger. Being small means your voice is not lost among a barrage of noise or hype.

Being 'small' enables you to capture & enjoy moments of pure beauty; those intimate Discord stages with fellow creators, those powerful Twitter Spaces with your closest NFT family, and those one-to-one Zoom calls with fellow collectors or creators.

Being 'small' gives you an opportunity to get to know every single member of your community, to welcome them into your Discord, hear about their day, share your favourite foods, movies (or gifs...!), bond over shared interests & embrace each other’s differences.

Being 'small' gives you time to understand what’s important to your community. It gives you time to listen & a space for everyone’s voice to be heard. Being small gives you the opportunity to build friends for life, not just for mint.

What if the measure of success was not only determined by the number of likes, retweets, or volume of sales? But by the strength of your connections with like-minded individuals you've met on your journey?

What if the bond of one single, unbreakable connection was just as powerful as 50,000 followers? And what if it was these bonds that became your ocean?
