NFT Artists, Let us go for Positive and Strong Mental Health

NFTs are amazing. We've built a strong and supportive community around us. YET, a lot of us are facing some mental health issues.

Let's look at some of the factors contributing to negative mental health:

  1. Pressurizing expectations around quick sales.

  2. 24 x 7 grinding in Twitter, resulting in lack of sleep, imbalanced food, and deterioration of health.

  3. Peer pressure resulting from exponential success stories around us.

  4. Financial pressure to put food on the table.

This hype and enormous emphasis around achieving success through a rapid sale and turnaround of our works seem to be the major contributor for a lot of NFT artists suffering from mental health issues and depressive state of mind.

The approach of a majority of current buy/sell traders in the game isn't helping them either.

So, the question now is how do we deal with it? Here are 9 ways:

1. Ask & Remind ourselves why, in the first place did, we start creating art?

2. As an artist, we derive utmost pleasure and joy when we see a masterwork getting created.

3. We constantly work towards improving our skills, learning, and feeding our creativity.

4. Even before NFT happened to us, with comparatively meager income out of our artwork, we did enjoy our life. Let's not become Greedy.

5. Let's surround ourselves with friends who infuse positivity into our lives and don't unduly push us into a vicious circle of depression.

6. Eat healthy, sleep sufficiently, exercise, go out, and enjoy quality time with friends and family.

7. Feel happy for all NFT artists making progress and achieving success.

8. Interact positively with the artists to learn and understand the game.

9. Work towards achieving financial freedom.

Of course, these are pointers through my limited understanding and experience of the NFT space, and I am sure there are many more aspects and solutions existing, emerging, and evolving.

In a nutshell, let's ENJOY this incredible journey.
